Born in 1984 in Oneonta, Lo-Fi Lobo is the audio equivalent to a silverfish that hides in your bookcase eating sheet music and getting high off the glue that holds your favorite comic books together.
Mixing live and sampled recordings into a blend that is both spacey yet earthen, Lobo crafts beats that pay homage to all of music’s golden ages while casting a glimpse into its future.
In addition to productions for Sime Gezus, Oddy Gato and his own upcoming solo début, Lobo is the co-founder of the Beat*Shot Music Group and host of WCDB 90.9FM’s Capital Coup both of which look to strengthen upstate New York’s musical community.
