The hip hop crew formed as two previous groups began to deteriorate. Sime Gezus, El Sciz (both affiliates of the Urthlings (together the duo recorded under the name Backward Blessing), Rawhead and Chorus Babblebones (both members of Skull Divison) began collaborating in late 2006. Eraserheadz officially began in January of 2007, when they were asked to open for underground hip hop star Pumpkinhead at a local club. Midas would join to DJ the group, and they continue to play numerous shows in the capitol region (most notably the Rexleigh Mill Festival two years in a row). Taking its name from the famed David Lynch film, the group has since gone on to open for underground legends such as Percee P and Akrobatik. In a way, the group is an all-star lineup, showcasing the Sub-Bombin' Records hip hop roster. They have released their debut EP, Dusted and is available for download.
