El Sciz is one of the many alter-egos of Shane Sanchez. A founding member of the Eraserheadz collective, Sciz has been recording hip hop since he was 11. Wu-Tang Clan and their many affiliates are where he the drew most influence growing up. From the unique styles of each affiliate, to the gloomy, rugged production of The RZA and 4th Disciple. He took this influence to mold and perfect his own style of hip hop producing. Sciz has been a member of various 518 hip hop groups including Backward Blessing, Spaced Out, The Urthlings, CBP and more. As of late he's mostly focused on producing over rhyming, as he and Rawhead are the house producers for Eraserheadz. Outside of hip hop, Sciz records under the name Ghoul Poon, releasing various experimental recordings of noise and electro. He is the also vocalist and synth player for A Fetish for Ethics.
